TWO women fled after flames from two blazing wheelie bins threatened to spread to their home early on Thursday.
The fire from the bins spread to the back door of the house in Sussex Place, Tyldesley, shortly after 1am.
One of the women heard the bins being pushed to her back door before she smelt smoke. She raised the alarm and got herself and her mother out of their home. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which severely damaged the back door and caused smoke damage to the house. Police are investigating.
