FOREIGN Secretary and Blackburn MPJack Straw was today meeting the bosses of English Cricket about their proposed tour to Zimbabwe next winter.
Tony Blair revealed the summit at Prime Minister's Questions yesterday.
The Prime Minister was asked by Tory Leader Michael Howard what his personal view on the tour was.
The country is currently being ruled by dictator Robert Mugabe.
Mr Blair said he personally believed the English cricket team should not tour.
He said Mr Straw had made it clear that it would be wrong for the government to order the team not to go.
However he said that Mr Straw would meet the England and Wales Cricket Board today to discuss the issue further.
