HANNAH Pursall, of Atherton, was upset with my attitude towards drug addicts in the piece I wrote on Leigh's re-opened Bengal Street toilets.
She says it's easy to tar everyone with the same brush, but I should consider that I may have offended people who are battling addiction of varying forms (not just 'druggies').
She says she finds my views extremely dated and would rather see a sharp box in a public toilet than needles strewn all over the place for "tots" to play with.
Fair comment, but the point I was making was that it shouldn't take priority over soap and hand driers --of which there were none.
