I LOOK forward to the day when I can regrow my teeth. Mine have cost a fortune to keep up to scratch -- and despite that fact they're anything but special.
As a lifelong suffer of acute Bruxism (that's teeth grinding) I wore many of mine away and have ended up with a mouth full of caps and white edge fillings which have to be replaced regularly.
The British Dental Association has welcomed research that shows people will be able to regrow new teeth from stem cells planted under the gum. These grow into normal teeth in about two months.
Of course only the well off will be able to afford the treatment when it becomes available at £1,500 to £2,000 a tooth.
There's nothing I find more attractive than a perfect set of white teeth, sadly it's something I have never had -- and probably never will have.
