ROSEGROVE Fun Day was another success last Sunday.
The five-a-side football matches kept the spectators on their toes until the end of the games. Ten teams took part and the winners and loses in each group were awarded a medal each. The winners of each group received a cup.
A big thank you goes to local resident Tom Kirtley who donated the medals, and to Londis, a local off-licence, which sponsored one of the cups.
CONGRATULATIONS to Phylis Ashbridge on her 80th birthday from all at St Mark's Church on Rossendale Road. The congregation also wishes her husband Granville a speedy recovery from his illness.
