IN the past, I took my newspapers and bottles, glass and plastic to the Longfield Centre to be recycled.
When I worked on my garden I took the resulting waste to the Buckley Lane facility.
Now, services provided by the council come to my home and do all this for me. This is an obvious improvement.
Perhaps people could use the time they spend writing to complain more usefully, by sorting their refuse into the appropriate containers.
