WALSHAW got their season back on track at the weekend with two emphatic victories over Standish and Blackrod.
At Standish on Saturday they dismissed the home side for only 89, with eight wickets shared between professional Jon Fielding and Bret Collins.
Rob Faulkner claimed the final two.
In reply openers Anthony Harris and Faulkner comfortably knocked off the runs in just half the allotted overs.
At home to Blackrod on Sunday the match followed much the same pattern.
The visitors were invited to bat first and made 152-9 from their 48 overs, with Fielding again doing the lion's share of the damage taking 7-43 from 19 overs.
Another solid opening partnership between Faulkner and Harris laid the foundations for the victory, with Tony Kelly, Fielding and Collins scoring 39, 31 and 30 respectively to see the Sycamore Road club home.
