ROSSENDALE'S Citizens' Advice Bureau is having an Open Day on May 15 at their base in Rochdale Road, Bacup.
The Open Day will be attended by the Mayor of Rossendale, Eileen Kershaw and the Mayor of Whitworth as well as councillors and other VIPs.
The aim of the day is to show how successful the organisation is, to appeal
for volunteers and inform people of outreach sessions in Haslingden and Rawtenstall.
The event, to be held from 10am-2pm, will also mark the end of the manager Barbara Jones' tenure and the decision of Frank Kirk, one of the oldest and longest serving volunteers, to take a more backstage role.
