THE stars came out in force last week to see Blackburn Rovers famously beat Manchester United at Ewood Park.
Guest of honour for the day was Sir Anerood Jugnauth, the President of Mauritius, who received a special commemorative crystal bowl off rival managers Graeme Souness and Sir Alex Ferguson before kick-off.
Sir Anerood, who is a keen football fan, was as a special guest of Air Mauritius, one of Rovers' associate sponsors.
But also amongst the near-capacity crowd was Chris Bisson, who used to play Vikram in Coronation Street, and Cold Feet star James Nesbitt, who was seen arriving at the ground in a brand new Bentley.
