THE flag was flying high at Ewood Park this week -- and not just because Blackburn Rovers are celebrating staying in the Premiership!
A 50ft England flag, produced by Nationwide Building Society, is currently touring the country's football grounds in anticipation of the national team's appearance in Euro 2004 this summer.
And a representative from each club has been invited to write a good-luck message on it before it's officially presented to the England team at their Lisbon base ahead of the tournament.
So assistant community officer, Mick Brennan, did the honours for Rovers and the overall proceeds from the stunt will go to Sport Relief.
