BLACKBURN West SureStart will celebrate its first birthday with a family fun day in Corporation Park.
Activities will include face painting, hair braiding, drawing, puppet making, mask making, paint a pot and plant a posy, play dough sessions, a bouncy castle and a brass band.
Stalls covering health themes will cover topics like safety in the sun, breast feeding, self-defence sessions, food and nutrition.
Have-a-go sessions including Indian head massage and aromatherapy will also be on offer to visitors.
SureStart is a government initiative providing resources to improve the quality of life for children under four and their families. Information on its services will be available on the day.
Kashmer Shokar, community development and lifelong learning team leader, said: "Fun days are an excellent way of engaging with the local community to find out their views and what their expectations of SureStart are.
"This will help us develop relevant and appropriate services for the people we deal with."
Activities will be held between noon and 4pm on May 15.
