Manchester Dogs, Home is looking for a special person for Buddy

Buddy has attained the status of 'Longest Stayer' at the Manchester Dogs, Home as he was admitted on the 12th November 2003 - over five months ago!

He was picked up by the Dog Warden after being found wandering in the Collyhurst area of Manchester.

Buddy is a medium-sized, black and brindle dog approx three years old.

He would make an excellent companion animal as he is very friendly with people and has a loving nature. The added bonus is that he gets on fine with other dogs, too.

Although he is quiet, he,s no slouch, in fact he,s a bit of a playboy at heart as he loves his toys and likes you to throw his ball for him.

He will obey basic commands such as 'sit and stay', he is lead trained and loves to go for walks. Buddy has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Staff feel that Buddy has not been rehomed as he is shy and does not push himself to the front of the kennel with the other dogs which is a great shame as he is a dog with a big, affectionate heart. He deserves a kind home with a loving owner. He would best be suited to a mature person or family with older children and a quiet environment.
