A FRONT seat car passenger used an extending metal baton to "cosh" another vehicle as they pulled alongside during a high-speed chase.
Blackburn magistrates heard the incident had started as a chase and the incident had spanned Blackburn Road in Darwen, Bolton Road in Blackburn and the Ewood Triangle.
William McGill, 19, of Anchor Avenue, Darwen, pleaded guilty to possession of the metal asp and possession of cannabis.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £50 costs.
