A GOLBORNE man has denied murdering his brother.
Timothy Ashcroft, of High Street, is alleged to have murdered Andrew Ashcroft during an incident in High Street on February 10.
He pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to murder during a hearing on Monday and also denied a lesser alternative charge of manslaughter.
Ashcroft, aged 38, who appeared via video link equipment from Forest Bank Prison, was further remanded in custody to await his trial, estimated to last three weeks, beginning on June 9.
