THE Prestwich Carnival programme is now available.

Sponsored by the Prestwich and Whitefield Guide, the colour brochure is a 32-page guide to what's happening on the day.

It contains everything you need to know about the carnival and parade and you can buy a souvenir copy for just £1 - and win a prize!

Prestwich Carnival takes place in St Mary's Park, from noon on Sunday, June 20, and there will be five hours of fun for all the family in the showcase arena, plus a traditional parade through the streets.

Each brochure features a lucky programme number, which gives carnival revellers the chance to win a top prize on the day.

Winning numbers will be announced by Tower FM DJs between 1pm and 5pm.

There is also a treasure hunt with six questions to answer and the first person back to the beer tent on carnival day with the correct answers can win tickets to see one of the top shows at the Longfield Suite later on in the year.

The programme also features a good luck message from the House of Commons, via Ivan Lewis MP, and an introduction to the Sunshine Team by joint chairman David Curtis.
