Regarding the article, 'Clean up your act or else' by Sarvat Jabeen Khan. I thought it was about time someone spoke up about this problem in the community. Especially the part about throwing food (chapattis and bread) out into the back yards. This attracts all sorts of pests and vermin.
On my street there are three households who regularly do this and it is difficult trying to explain to them that they shouldn't. I don't think we can blame the women who come from abroad even so-called educated people do it without thinking about the consequences.
It also very bad when people throw their takeaway food on the street. I think the takeaways should be made more responsible and fined if they don't provide bins for their customers. Thank you for making a very valid and important point.
