BURNLEY Alliance Junior Band jazzed up their image following a donation from a local firm.
When they performed at the Browhead Court sheltered housing complex recently, they wore eye-catching yellow T-shirts bought with a donation from Fireplace Warehouse, at Accrington Road, in Burnley.
The band has over 30 youngsters playing traditional instruments including cornets, flugel horns, trombones and percussion.
They played a mix of marches, hymns, jazz tunes and novelty numbers to residents and friends. Young and old enjoyed the show, with those in attendance ranging from eight to 76 years old.
Speaking about the donation, band spokesman Colin Mason said: "We are greatly indebted to the directors for their support."
