ASTLEY & Tyldesley's West Indian professional Andrew Richardson hit the heights on Sunday with a Cross Cup century -- only to see his side dumped out in the first round.
Chasing an impressive Standish total of 204, Richardson hit 109 while Rob Bennett added 36, but they were the only two worthwhile contributions in an Astley total of 168.

Leaders Elton could not repeat their league form at Atherton, where they went down to a seven wicket defeat.
They were dismissed for163 and then saw Karl Brown (61) and Paul Keenan (52) produce an opening partnership of 86, with Phil West adding 30 in their reply of 164-3.
