FOLLOWING the death of a motorcyclist in an alleged hit and run accident, two youths appeared at Liverpool Crown Court.
Shaun Unsworth, 19, of Aneline Street, Chorley, is charged with the manslaughter of 38-year-old Phil Taylor, of Alt Close, Leigh.
He is also charged with driving while disqualified and causing death by dangerous driving.
Unsworth, who is at Forest Bank young offenders institution, appeared before Judge John Roberts via video link equipment.
In the dock was 18-year-old David Hirst, of Hilton Avenue, Horwich, who is accused of being a passenger in a Rover which allegedly struck Mr Taylor. He is charged with aggravated vehicle taking in which death was caused.
Unsworth was further remanded in custody until June 4 and Hirst was remanded on bail to the same date.
