ANOTHER 'squeaky toy' falls prey to a vicious dog (LET, May 8).
Only this time the 'toy' was set upon in a school yard.
The question is, why on earth are these fighting breeds allowed to be kept as pets in urban areas?
The fact is, fear is usually the trigger factor and once detected, canines respond with greater aggression.
I was recently going about my business, when passing a property, a dog darted out and tried to have a go.
I did see it off after the weighty bottle in my possession connected several times with its head!
Needless to say, I am all for the friendly type of dog.
