PUPILS at Brierfield's Mansfield High School will be getting out and about in style thanks to support from a local firm.
Headteacher Mike Tull approached Colne-based car dealership David Fishwick to see if they could help them find a new minibus.
But David Fishwick, who opened the dealership last year, was able to go one step better and partly funded a minibus for them, saving them thousands of pounds into the bargain.
Mr Tull said: "We are very grateful. We couldn't rely on our old minibus and the pupils use the bus every week, either for school trips or visiting other schools for sports matches."
David Fishwick added: "I know the minibus will be put to plenty of good use so I was delighted to be able to help them."
