TO a person standing on a steep slope, the flat land in front of them can look like an opposite slope.
This is the only reason I can see for the view of correspondent J. Renniker (May 7), that the BBC has a left-wing bias, to the extent of being hostile to British culture, traditions and way of life.
I am old enough to remember when there were no television adverts on Christmas Day. Nowadays it is "double the discount", blasted at us every quarter of an hour. There is no blaming the BBC for that.
