BURY College's Business Solutions is celebrating Adult Learners' Week with a range of management and business support events.
A variety of taster sessions will take place and experienced business advisers will be on hand to give professional advice and guidance on training opportunities.
As part of the celebrations, the newly-formed Centre of Vocational Excellence in Management Skills and Business Services will hold a business breakfast next Wednesday when the guest speaker will be Olive Strachan.
CoVE manager Martin Leach will lead a management development taster followed by an open evening next Thursday evening.
Events take place from Monday, May 17 to Thursday, May 20 at Link House, Walmersley Road, Bury. On Monday from noon to 2pm the subject is management development and training opportunities; On Tuesday from 11.30am to 12.30pm it is Sage taster and training and on Wednesday from 8.30am to 11am is the CoVE business breakfast.
Other events include one-hour lunchtime tasters such as 11am to noon on "manage your time effectively"; from noon to 1pm it is "managing effective interviews" amd from 1pm to 2pm "managing stress".
On Thursday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm there is a managing development taster and from 6.30pm to 8.0pm a management skills and business services open evening.
