LONG-time supporter of the Horses and Ponies Protection Association (HAPPA) Irene Jameson has been honoured with a trophy.
The Admiral Memorial Trophy is presented annually to volunteers and supporters of HAPPA who have gone out of their way to help.
Mrs Jameson's association with HAPPA began in 1978 and she was elected to the board of directors 10 years later.
She retired last year but holds the position of honorary vice-president of the charity.
HAPPA chairman Ken Cranage said: "Mrs Jameson has continually striven to help HAPPA and her kindness and assistance has been very gratefully received."
Mrs Jameson was presented with her trophy at HAPPA's Shore Hey Farm in Briercliffe.
