JAMES Anderson's first 10-wicket match haul helped Lancashire power to the top of the County Championship First Division.
Lancashire earned a crushing 219-run over Worcestershire at Old Trafford, with Burnley bowler Anderson claiming four wickets yesterday, adding to his figures of 6-49 in the first innings.
Anderson and Gary Keedy spearheaded the bowling effort, taking 19 wickets between them, as Worcestershire collapsed to 127 all out, chasing 347.
Coach Mike Watkinson said: "We've shown the type of qualities the side has. It was a good team performance to get us the victory in three days."
