SUMMER is coming -- and the Grand Theatre's successful summer rep season is making a welcome return.
The season kicks off next week with Outside Edge, starring Robert Duncan, Frazer Hines, Glenda McKay and Sabina Franklyn, which centres on the misadventures of a cricket team.
The following week, Paul Shane, Giles Watling, Scott Wright and Tina Hall star in Out of Order, while Paul Usher and Sally Ann Matthews feature in My Fat Friend from June 1 to 5. Finally, Judy Cornwell features in Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit from June 8 to 12.
All plays run from Tuesday to Saturday, with a Wednesday matinee.
Looking further forward, the Grand will welcome Bill Kenwright's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Following its long break while the West End show was mounted The Grand Theatre, Blackpool is delighted to host this fantastic new production, based on the current West End smash hit, specially remoulded for its record-breaking 2003/4 national tour, boasting sparkling new settings, costumes, orchestrations, lighting.
The production features a brand-new Joseph, 20-year-old Andrew Derbyshire one of the runners-up on ITV's Pop Idol
The show is at the Grand from Monday, June 21 to Saturday 26.
