STUART Law hit his first Totesport League half-century of the season as Lancashire Lightning cruised to a seven-wicket victory over Hampshire Hawks with 13 overs to spare.
Lancashire had been set a target of 190 after another impressive display in the field and Law, in partnership with Mark Chilton (58 not out), knocked off the runs with ease.
The Aussie had struggled for runs in the one-day league this season but looked in super form as soon as he strode to the wicket after the early loss of Iain Sutcliffe, hitting two early fours off his compatriot Shane Watson.
He holed out to mid-off just before the end, having faced just 74 balls and hit eight fours and two sixes.
Law said: "It has been a good start to the season for me in the championship but disappointing in the league so I was happy to get past 10 and then carry on from there."
