TALK about Harry Potty! Blackpool's Lucy Bushell is quite possibly the fictional wizard's number one fan.

She has already pre-booked 16 tickets for the Prisoner of Azkaban - the forthcoming Harry Potter film - at Blackpool's Odeon cinema.

That's on top of the £1000 plus worth of tickets to see The Philosopher's Stone 78 times and The Chamber of Secrets 91 times!

"Lucy Bushell is our best paying customer who comes at least once a week. But when there's a Harry Potter film showing, she virtually lives here," said the Odeon's Dave Hughes.

Lucy's mum Jean added: "Lucy's greatest interest is Harry Potter, to the point of obsession.

"Her bedroom is a shrine to this wizard of the screen with memorabilia on the walls, on the shelves and in the cupboards - a unique collection.

"When it comes to the film or book releases she is first in the queues and is religious in her attendance at screenings, hitting a hundred viewings at the cinema for the last film.

"So what can I expect this summer? A house without a daughter while Harry Potter plays on the big screen!"

Lucy, now 27, beat poor health in early life caused by a genetic condition to become a qualified teaching assistant at Poulton's Carleton Green Primary School.

She spends some of her spare time looking after her geese, rescued battery hens, and pet pig called Geoffrey.

But it's Harry who's caught her imagination.

"I do like other movies but this one is just different, there's just something about it," she said.

"I went to see the first showing of the first Harry Potter film, and I was like 'that was never two and a half hours'. So I went to see it again the day after, and I just carried on watching it over and over.

"I like the effects and the characters and I like the quidditch playing!"

Her Potter 'shrine' at her Hambleton home includes posters, books, films, board and computer games and clothing. She also has two personally written letters from Potter author, J K Rowling.

But Lucy reckons she probably spends no more money on her hobby than anyone else might on theirs.

"I just like movies and I like reading books," she said.
