TWO men who raided a single mother's home are behind bars after a judge slammed their behaviour as "particularly mean."
Anthony Bell, 17, and Scott Dagg, 21, of Blackburn, ransacked the house and the offence had had a long-lasting effect on her, Burnley Crown Court heard.
Sentencing Bell, currently serving a detention and training order and who, at the time, was on a supervision order, Judge Gillian Ruaux said he needed to grow up and to learn he would be punished.
The judge told Dagg, subject to a community rehabilitation order, he had been given many chances in the past. She added Dagg had been "cool and callous."
Bell, of Devon Road, and Dagg, of Yates Fold, were each given a 12-month jail term after admitting burglary. Bell's new sentence will be served on top of his present term.
The court was told both defendants left fingerprints at the scene.
