Daniel Brown won't forget his time at Turf Moor in a hurry after scoring a memorable match-winning hat-trick.
The Todmorden Colts striker displayed finishing skills to fit the surroundings in a cup final the produced top class football.
Brown made his mark as early as the third minute with a superb swivel volley after Alistair Harrison flicked on Ross Widdup's thrown-in.
The early, end-to-end action set the tone for the pulsating match as Tod keeper, Jamie Shackleton, was called in to action to palm away a thunderous effort from Dominic Allen.
However, the keeper's next touch proved to be a howler as his attempted clearance fell straight to Jonathan Crabtree who rolled the ball home in to an unguarded net.
But Shackleton didn't have to feel sorry for himself too long as Brown but Tod back in the lead within a minute.
The striker showed great skill and awareness to control Scott Proctor's long ball and skip around the keeper to side foot the ball home.
Widdup was proving to be a handful, and one surging run from midfield, ended with Brown firing wide from a tight angle.
Celtic could have drawn level just before the break but Ross Singleton's shot was cleared off the line after good work from Christopher Needham and Jonathan Crabtree.
There was no let up in the action in the second half with Christopher Kay showing great energy on the right flank for Tod with some powerful runs.
From one such run, Kay found substitute, Daniel Holmes, whose shot was well saved. Kay then fired across goal after another typical, lung-bursting run.
Kay was now at the centre of every Todmorden attack and his run and cut-back from the by-line found Brown who forced Cross in to another good save.
But it was far from one-way traffic and Allen pounced on to a loose ball only to see his shot well saved by Shackleton.
And centre back, Scott Moore, was showing his footballing abilities with some mazy runs out of defence.
But the game was finally put beyond Celtic when Holmes burst in to the area to tee up Brown who finished with a crisp drive.
A memorable goal, a memorable game and most importantly, a game young Brown will never forget.
