A BUS driver pulled out all the stops to complete the London Marathon in less than three hours.
Father-of-three Martin Lee clocked a time of two hours, 54 minutes even though he was full of a cold.
He completed his first marathon at the age of 12 in 1976 when he ran alongside his grandfather.
Mr Lee (40) is a member of the Rossendale Harriers and also ran for Bolton Harriers between 1972-1995.Martin (40), of Chesham Road, Bury, has completed in 25 marathons In Europe and New York.
He said: "I will probably run again, but my enthusiasm for the sport isn't what it used to be, although it is a hobby of mine. Martin recently appeared as one of the contestants in the BBC2 television programme "SAS -- are you tough enough?".
