TENNIS stars at the world's top tournament were set to use towels manufactured in Padhiam.
J & M Sherry Textiles, who supplied towels for hotel chains, were honoured to win the prestigious order for 2,000 towels to be used in the showers at Wimbledon.
Meanwhile fire crews and teachers joined forces to demand action over disused school buildings at Bank Hey Special School which they said had turned into derelict death traps.
