A TRAFFIC park-and-ride scheme could be established in Rawtenstall to help ease congestion problems.
The council's executive are to hear recommendations made by the overview and scrutiny committee, which include looking into the feasibility of establishing the scheme.
At the meeting on Wednesday, they will also discuss introducing a one-way system on Bank Street and the results of a survey on town centre car parking.
It follows a report commissioned to look into the ongoing traffic congestion in the town, and how best traffic and car parking can be managed.
