TWIN Valley Homes is offering people from ethnic minority communities a chance to work in the housing sector, while studying for a professional degree to help further their career.
The Blackburn housing company has made a commitment to sponsor one Asian student a year to study at the University of Salford.
Under the training sponsorship, Twin Valley Homes will offer a one-year study bursary followed by a one-year salaried work placement to the candidate with the "ambition to make it as a high-flyer in housing".
Phil Richards, chief executive at Twin Valley Homes, said: "Our staff are our greatest asset and we have been recognised as an Investor In People. This annual opportunity is part of our ongoing commitment to training and developing our staff and to our investment in the local community."
Anyone from the Asian community interested in applying for the study placement should contact Catherine Proctor on 01254 269029.
