A BURNLEY school was travelling to London today to compete in the final stages of a national football competition.
The under 13s girls football team of Ivy Bank Business and Enterprise College, are representing the north of England in the ESFA Coca Cola national finals.
The team will today play Church Stretton School, from Shropshire, in the semi-finals at Watford's Vicarage Road, kicking off at 4pm.
Tomorrow the school will be closed as more than 300 pupils from the school cheer on the team when they compete in the final or the third and fourth place play-off at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge.
