POLICE have vowed to make sure a man convicted of harassing his neighbours obeys his anti-social behaviour.
Officers spoke out after Graham Pye, of Harlech Drive, Oswaldtwistle, failed in a bid to get his conviction quashed.
Pye, 50, was convicted by Hyndburn magistrates in March of harassing his neighbours after taking a disliking to their new camper van.
He played loud music and television late into the night, and abused them until they feared using their garden.
A judge at Burnley Crown Court last week refused to overturn the verdict but did reduce his community rehabilitation order from two years to one after hearing about the builder's poor health.
Conditions of the ASBO dictate that Pye faces arrest if he harasses his neighbours again and Sergeant Claire Holbrook, of Accrington Police, said: "We will be closely monitoring this case to ensure that the prohibitions imposed are complied with."
