TWO 15-year-old boys had to be rescued from Darwen's India Mill last night after climbing 25 feet to a ledge.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue were called to the site off Bolton Road at around 9.30pm.
Sub officer Steve Ryan said: "The lads were stuck on a small ledge on a wall above the car park. It looks like they must have climbed up the stone work on the outside of the wall.
"It probably started off as an adventure but when they got there and looked back it seemed a lot higher than when they set off."
