ADULT learners gathered in Radcliffe on Tuesday (May 18) to brush up on their English and maths skills for free.
The Learning Lorry rolled into the car park of Asda in Pilkington Way to help people find out more about courses on offer locally. The event also coincided with Adult Learners Week.
The lorry was equipped with computers and laptops with internet facilities, so visitors could try them out, and test their English and maths skills.
Staff from Bury Council's lifelong learning team were also on hand to give information and offer advice. They also passed on the message to local employers that they had the chance to give their staff more skills and training.
