NEIL Turley is on the brink of setting a new scoring record.
The Leigh Centurions full-back needs just five more goals to score the fastest century of goals in a season.
Bobbie Goulding (St Helens 1966) and Andy Farrell (Wigan 2000) share the record of reaching a century in their club's 17th Cup and League match. Goulding reached the milestone despite missing two games through injury. His total included two drop goals and Farrell's one.
Turley has missed one of Leigh's 14 matches so far in totalling 95 goals, including two drop goals. He has kicked 10 or more in a match on four occasions this season.
