CAR boot fever hit Prestwich and Whitefield last weekend as bargain-hunters turned out in the blistering heat.
St Mary's Park in Prestwich was packed with stalls and visitors at an event organised by the 401st Manchester Cubs and Scouts and the 5th Cheetham Brownies and Guides..
Also busy at work raising funds were members of the Shaarei Shalom Synagogue at their car boot sale.
Money raised from the event in Elms Street, Whitefield, will go towards the synagogue's new prayer room at Gigg Lane cemetery.
