THE children's park on Owen Street has now been completed and the old equipment has been replaced with modern facilities.
Money has come from the Elevate Project Rosegrove Action Group with help from Judy Yacoub from The Community Alliance and Lynne Blackburn, the local area worker for Rosegrove.
BUSINESSMAN Jeff Ashworth, who sponsors Briercliffe Rovers, is in need of new players for the under nine, and 10 teams plus goalkeepers for next year from the Rosegrove area. Phone 01282 830081 or contact K Ashworths in Gannow Lane.
THE Arts and Crafts Fair at Greenbrook Church, Greenbrook Road, runs until Sunday. If anyone has not returned their Christian aid envelopes they are due back now.
ROSEGROVE Action Group has had complaints from childrens' parents about dog owners deliberately letting their dogs loose in the play area of the park on Owen Street. The area is fenced off and the culprits have been reported to the Park Rangers and the dog warden service.
