PUPILS are celebrating after being granted planning permission from Hyndburn Council for a new playground.
Mount Pleasant County Primary School in Earl Street, Clayton-le-Moors will start work on the new playing fields in June.
The work is estimated to cost £250,000 which has been donated by Persimmon Homes.
