SIX students from an East Lancashire College may soon face the wrath of scary TV chef Gordon Ramsay.
In the latest of a series of celebration dinners at Horizons Restaurant, run entirely by Accrington and Rossendale College catering students, the trainee chefs were overseen by Stuart Gillies.
Stuart, executive chef at Ramsay's Boxwood Cafe in Knightsbridge, spent yesterday with six young chefs helping them prepare a five-course meal for diners in the Globe Centre restaurant.
He said he had been impressed by the standard of the students and would have no hesitation inviting them for a work placement at his year old restaurant. If the students take up the challenge, they will spend up to six weeks at the New York-style eaterie.
Ramsay has become as famous for his expletives as his cooking skills recently with Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on C4, where viewers heard him swear 111 times in one hour.
