SOME months ago a new type of road marking started to appear around the borough. It consists of white lines painted around holes in the roads. These lines are beginning to wear out while the holes themselves are becoming larger and larger, and deeper and deeper.
What are we drivers supposed to do when we see them? I have consulted my Highway Code but can see no reference to them.
Guidance would be appreciated because we are becoming confused by the plethora of red, white or green lines, lanes, patches and blobs, which are appearing on our roads.
