COUNCIL chiefs in Rossendale are urging people taking part in this year's all-postal ballot to use their vote wisely.
Each elector in Rossendale has received a letter guiding them through the voting process for the June 10 elections.
'Assistance points' will also be set up in Rawtenstall Town Hall to offer guidance.
Rossendale Borough Councils' local returning officer and chief executive, Owen Williams said: "It is a really exciting time for the borough. I urge everyone to vote in the borough and European elections. This is your chance to have your say and become involved in local democracy."
Chief administrative officer Paul Jones said: "In Rossendale we have 12 seats up for election.
"From June 2 there will be an assistance and delivery point in Rawtenstall Town Hall open from 10am until 5pm and 7am to 10pm on June 10."
Ballot packs will be sent to all electors next week.
