THE MAJOR movers on the Evalast Merit leaderboard this week were Stuart Gall and Brian Tomlinson who both won important away games.
Stuart has moved into seventh place following his fifth win of the season and up to number one in the Great Harwood club list.
Brian also reached a top 10 place for the first time and pole position at the Alex for the first time in four years.
Team mate David Hoyle suffered demotion after losing only his second game of the season.
Nevertheless it will help both players if they alternate top place from time to time.
John Chatwin has made a terrific start to the campaign, but he suffered the same fate as David, but remains in a good position on the leaderboard.
However, the major players come from Brownedge who have been very consistent since early April.
Andrew Harley followed by Linden Carr and Dave Darley have set a hot pace in spite of early-season absences which make their scores even more ominous.
