YOUNG readers shared their passion for literature with the whole world when a discussion on their favourite books was broadcast live via webcam.
A group of 12 teenagers voted for the much coveted Lancashire County Library Service Children's Book of the Year Award at County Hall in Preston.
About 400 Year 9 pupils from all over Lancashire, including from Moorhead High School, Accrington, Burnley Habergham High, St Augustine's RC High School, Billington and Colne's Primet High School, have been ploughing their way through 107 novels before drawing up a top 10 of their favourites.
