AN internal police investigation was under way after two police guns were found lying in a Blackburn street.
The weapons were found by a member of the public in Sudell Cross and were thought to have come from a police armed response vehicle.
Meanwhile, teacher Karen Snell had to endure the indignity of a Noel Edmonds-style gunge plunge after her pupils at Moorland Lower School nominated her for the dreaded tank. She raised £1,200 for charity.
