ONE boy suffered stomach injuries and another had a bad facial cut, after an accident involving their bike and a car.
The pair, aged 12 and 13, both riding on one pushbike, hit a car at the junction of Clarendon Street and Bold Street, Accrington, at 8.30pm yesterday. .
Ambulance technician Colin Willis said: "One of them was thrown into the air, hit the car windscreen and received stomach injuries. It wasn't exactly clear what the injuries were, but he was taken to hospital in an ambulance, to see a specialist.
"The other boy came off and landed on his chin, receiving quite a bad cut. His dad took him to hospital in his car.
"Both the lads went Blackburn Royal Infirmary and were in a stable condition."
Mr Willis said the woman driving the car was uninjured.
