A BURY organisation which helps people rebuild their lives is appealing for unwanted household furniture.

Rebuild helps those on low incomes or who have been forced to start from scratch to furnish their properties.

Louise Ball, administration officer for the service, said: "Most unwanted furniture just ends up in the tip. But it can be used again and make a real difference to people who are having to start up again. We need all items of furniture but particularly bedroom furniture."

She added: "We also arrange a mutually convenient time to collect the goods."
